My little guy turned 4 this last week! We had a little party with his buddies at our house. He asked for a Toy Story cake & I had something in mind like this:
But life with a newborn has made me pretty wussy when it comes to all-nighters so I had to be okay with something a bit more scaled back. Here is what I came up with for him:
He didn't seem disappointed so I was good & quite proud of myself with being okay with making something that wasn't up to my usual standard. I also came up with these cute favor boxes.
I got the green boxes at Michaels, bought craft paper to match to make the ears & googly eyes (both hot glued on), drew the mouths on with a sharpie and hot glued on a pipe cleaner and pom pom antenna. Love these girls!

What a rad looking birthday party! I think the fact you made a cake (and an awesome one at that) at all with a new born is a tremendous feat! Good on you!

SO CUTE JAMIE! Love his cake and I think it turned out just as cute if not more cute!!! I was dying over those favors! Sad though look at Mase he is like the little outcast during present time :( our shy little guy!
